BGC Laguna’s Philanthropy Club is hosting an Art Contest
The Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach in partnership with Locals for Laguna Beach is holding a town-wide art contest for philanthropy at home yard signs and merchandise. The subject: “Laguna Beach Gratitude-for what are you most thankful?”
The request is for creations to be submitted by Thursday, 11/25. Originals may be mailed in or delivered to 1085 Laguna Canyon Road where there is a drop-off box. Winners are to be announced in December. The requested size is 8 ½ by 11, one-dimensional visual art. Digital submissions may be emailed to mars@bgclaguna.org. Awards for 4 different age categories: up to 4, 5-10, 11-13, 14-18. BGCLB will be printing yard signs and merchandise to promote love in action, right here, in Laguna Beach. Judging will be by jury with representation from Laguna College of Art and Design, LOCA, and Laguna Art Museum. Each winner to receive a Locals for Laguna Swag Bag filled with $200 in gift cards and products from local retailers. All participants to receive a special gift.
