ROSS DRESS FOR LESS® HELD IN-STORE FUNDRAISER TO HELP LOCAL KIDS THRIVE Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach Awarded $1,276.37 from 2025 Campaign

Laguna Beach, CA — From February 8 to March 2, 2025, Ross Stores, Inc. partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of America for the 11th annual in-store “Help Local Kids Thrive” fundraiser. As part of this nationwide campaign, the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach was awarded $1,276.37 to support its Power Hour homework help program.

The three-week fundraiser invited customers at Ross Dress for Less® stores to donate at checkout to benefit their local Boys & Girls Clubs. The Ross Stores Foundation matched the first $500,000 raised, further amplifying the impact of customer contributions.

The funding received by the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach will support Power Hour, a program that provides members with dedicated time and support for completing homework, strengthening academic skills, and developing positive study habits. Ross is the national sponsor of Power Hour, helping ensure youth have access to safe, structured learning environments during out-of-school hours.

“The generosity of Ross Stores and their customers means the world to our Club,” said Danny Panduro, Chief Program Officer at the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach. “This kind of support reflects a true commitment to our Club members’ academic success. It’s more than just a donation, it’s an investment in their potential, their confidence, and their future. We’re incredibly grateful for this continued partnership.”

Since its inception, the “Help Local Kids Thrive” campaign has raised more than $50 million to support Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide. Every dollar raised during the fundraiser helps Clubs provide high-impact programs and opportunities that prepare youth for great futures.
